A place of origin and inspiration. In this house was born, on November 18, 1867, Mother Eufrasia Iaconis, a woman of deep faith and the founder of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Immaculate Conception of Buenos Aires. Originally from Castelsilano, Mother Eufrasia Iaconis emigrated to Argentina, where she dedicated her life to Christian education, care for the poor, and the spiritual formation of young women. Her mission, guided by profound love for God and humanity, lives on today through the educational and charitable works carried out by her Congregation around the world. In 2017, she was officially declared Venerable by Pope Francis, in recognition of the holiness of her life and the enduring value of her service. This house is not only her birthplace but also a symbol of dedication, hope, and compassionate service to others.
